Schedule

Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with occasional scheduled holidays.

Assignment Details

May be required to float to other locations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar busy healthcare facility.
• Certification through CBSPD or CRCST (HSPA).
• Experience with decontamination of various medical instruments.
• Assembly of instruments across all service lines, including trauma and loaners.
• Knowledge of sterilization processes (sterilization methods include sterrad and steam).
• High-level disinfection (HLD) and scope experience.
• Experience with sterile storage practices.
• OR liaison experience.
• Familiarity with Censitrac tracking system.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper decontamination and sterilization of medical instruments.
• Assemble and package medical instruments for various service lines.
• Maintain compliance with infection control standards.
• Manage sterile storage and inventory of surgical instruments.
• Act as a liaison between surgical and sterile processing departments.
• Track instruments and sterile supplies using appropriate systems.
