Schedule

Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, with occasional scheduled holidays.

Requirements

• Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CBSPD) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) through HSPA required.
• Experience in decontamination of surgical items, sterilization processes (sterrad and steam), and HLD/scope procedures.
• Knowledge of sterile storage and experience as OR liaison.
• Familiarity with the Censitrac tracking system.
• Ability to manage case carts, separate dirty items, and prepare for next-day surgical cases.
• Must be able to take OR calls for multiple surgery floors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper decontamination and sterilization of all surgical instruments.
• Oversee the sterilization process and monitor equipment performance.
• Maintain sterile storage and proper organization of surgical items.
• Act as liaison between the operating room and sterile processing department.
• Track and manage inventory of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Respond to and assist with inquiries and requests from surgical teams.
