Schedule

Days: Friday to Sunday; Shift: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Assignment Details

Occasional scheduled holidays; may be required to float to other locations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a sterile processing department in a similar facility.
• Certification from CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA).
• Experience with decontamination and assembly of surgical instruments.
• Knowledge of sterilization processes (including sterrad and steam).
• Experience with HLD/scopes, sterile storage, and OR liaison duties.
• Familiarity with Censitrac tracking system.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate all surgical items, including drills, scopes, and other instruments.
• Assemble surgical instruments across various service lines, including trauma and loaners.
• Conduct sterilization processes according to facility protocols.
• Manage high-level disinfection procedures and scope care.
• Oversee sterile storage and inventory management.
• Act as a liaison between the operating room and sterile processing department.
