Surgical Services – Sterile Processing Tech

Schedule

Day shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with occasional scheduled holidays.

Assignment Details

Contract position with standard weekly hours.

Requirements

• Certification as either CBSPD or CRCST required.
• Previous experience in decontamination and sterilization processes.
• Familiarity with high-level disinfection (HLD) and scope experience.
• Experience with sterile storage and OR liaison responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Censitrac tracking system is preferred.
• Ability to move case carts and manage sterile supplies for upcoming surgical cases.
• Must be able to take calls for multiple surgical floors.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate surgical instruments and equipment.
• Oversee sterilization processes using Sterrad and steam sterilization methods.
• Ensure proper storage of sterile items.
• Coordinate with the operating room to meet supply needs.
• Document and track items using Censitrac system.
