Requirements

• Experience in decontamination of surgical instruments
• Assembly of instruments across various service lines including trauma and loaners
• Knowledge of sterilization processes, including STERRAD and steam sterilization
• Experience with high-level disinfection and scope handling
• Familiarity with sterile storage procedures
• Experience as an OR liaison
• Proficient in the Censitrac tracking system
• Medivator experience required
• Certification: CBSPD or CRCST through HSPA (formerly IAHCSMM)
• A minimum of [X] years of relevant experience in a comparable facility

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper decontamination of all surgical instruments
• Assemble surgical instrument trays accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to sterilization protocols to maintain safety standards
• Track inventory and maintain sterile storage areas
• Act as liaison between surgical teams and sterile processing
