Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30).

Assignment Details

Contract length and guaranteed hours will vary by assignment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing; first-timers not accepted.
• Certifications: CBSPD and IAHCSMM/HSPA preferred.
• Experience with flexible cystoscopes and sterilization equipment including Steris steam sterilizers and Stryker VP4 machines.
• Ability to serve as a preceptor for peers and new employees.
• Monthly bioburden error rate of .1% or less and an average tray volume of 20 trays per day, each averaging 100 instruments.
• Experience with SPM System.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with sterile processing protocols and quality assurance standards.
• Facilitate the efficient processing of instruments to support surgical teams.
• Collaborate with the central services team and assist in training new staff.
