Schedule

Night shift: Monday to Friday, 11 PM - 7:30 AM, with occasional scheduled holidays.

Assignment Details

Candidates may be required to float to other locations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar busy healthcare facility.
• Experience with decontamination of various items including surgical instruments.
• Knowledge in the assembly of instruments across different service lines.
• Familiarity with sterilization processes including sterrad and steam.
• Experience with HLD and scopes.
• Understanding of sterile storage practices.
• OR liaison experience.
• Experience with Censitrac tracking system.
• Certification: CBSPD or CRCST (through HSPA).

Responsibilities

• Decontaminating surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Assembling and packaging instruments for various surgical procedures.
• Operating sterilization equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Maintaining sterile storage protocols and supplies.
• Collaborating with OR staff to ensure timely availability of needed instruments.
• Tracking and documenting instruments using Censitrac system.
