Schedule

Night shift, 5x8 hours (23:00 - 07:30).

Assignment Details

Minimum 13-week assignment, with a maximum of 7 days' RTO. Every other weekend is required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing; first-timers not accepted.
• Certifications: CBSPD and IAHCSMM/HSPA preferred.
• Experience with flexible cystoscopes and SPD sterilization equipment, including Steris Steam Sterilizers and Stryker VP4 Machines.
• Ability to serve as a preceptor for peers and new employees.
• Expected bioburden error rate of .1% or less per month and a tray average of 20 per day.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in sterile processing.
• Maintain and operate sterilization and decontamination equipment.
• Assist in training and orienting new staff members.
• Monitor and document sterilization processes and outcomes.
