Schedule

2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, with scheduled rotating weekends and occasional scheduled Holidays.

Assignment Details

Contract length and guaranteed hours per week are determined by the facility.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in sterile processing.
• Previous travel experience required.
• CBSPD or CRCST certification is required.
• Experience with decontamination of various items including drills, surgical scopes, and more.
• Assembly of all instruments across service lines including trauma and loaners.
• Knowledge of sterilization processes including Sterrad and steam.
• Experience with high-level disinfection and scopes.
• Familiarity with sterile storage practices.
• OR liaison experience preferred.
• Experience with the Censitrac tracking system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high-level disinfection of all items processed.
• Assist in the assembly of surgical instruments and trays.
• Conduct sterilization processes according to facility protocols.
• Maintain sterile storage areas, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
• Collaborate with OR staff to address instrumentation needs and issues.
• Utilize tracking systems to manage inventory and instrument usage.
