Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for the cleaning, sterilization, and preparation of surgical instruments and equipment. This role is essential in ensuring that sterile supplies are maintained and available for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
• Inspect, assemble, and package instruments in preparation for sterilization.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory of sterile supplies.
• Adhere to safety and infection control procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.

Required Experience

Previous experience in sterile processing or a similar role is required.

Certifications/Licensure

Current certification in sterile processing is required.
