Sterile Processing Technician

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 9:45 PM to 6:15 AM with call required every 4th weekend.

Job Description

This position encompasses sterile processing duties alongside equipment management within a hospital environment. Responsibilities include making rounds to clean and disinfect various medical equipment, adhering to established par levels for necessary supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile processing duties including cleaning, disinfecting, and monitoring sterilization processes.
• Make rounds to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of equipment and supplies.
• Manage equipment documentation and maintain organizational standards.
• Respond to call requirements and provide support during off-hours as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing or equivalent hospital setting.
• Required certifications: BLS, CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA.
• Experience with equipment management and knowledge of aseptic techniques is preferred.
• Travel experience required.
