5x8 Evening shifts from 15:00 to 23:30.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Services Technician with experience in Trauma Level I and II settings. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in sterilization processes and equipment management. Responsibilities include maintaining aseptic technique and ensuring that all surgical instruments are properly sterilized and prepared.

Responsibilities

• Manage steam sterilizers, low temperature sterilization processes, and washer disinfectors.
• Handle case carts and ensure proper placement of surgical instruments on trays.
• Perform steam sterilization testing and monitoring.
• Maintain proper labeling and selection of wrapping materials for sterilization.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure the availability and readiness of necessary equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of surgical service technician experience.
• Experience in Trauma Level I and II required.
• Current certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA.
• BLS certification required.
• Candidates must have an active MD or Compact License at the time of submission.
