Day shift, 5x8 hours from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Job Description

The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper sterilization and preparation of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments, ensuring adherence to sterilization protocols.
• Utilize various sterilization and decontamination equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization processes and equipment usage.
• Perform routine inspections of sterile supplies and equipment.
• Assist in the assembly and packaging of surgical trays and sets.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
• BLS and CBSPD certifications are required.
• Travel experience is preferred.
