Surgical Services – Sterile Processing Tech Manager

Schedule

Evening shift starting at 2 PM, 5 days a week including weekends.

Assignment Details

This position does not require on-call duties or floating to other units.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Tech Supervisor required; lead experience is not accepted.
• Current certifications: BLS, CBSPD, or IAHCSMM/HSPA required.
• Flu vaccination required during flu season, with no exemptions.
• Must have an active license at the time of submission; no pending licenses will be accepted.
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the sterilization processes and staff within the sterile processing department.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
• Manage inventory and maintenance of sterile supplies and equipment.
• Conduct training and development programs for staff on best practices.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
