Processes specialty and general instruments. -Resets instrument sets without error. -Decontaminates instruments and equipment according to procedure. -Maintain Central Sterile Department stock levels. -Prepares and assembles surgical tray and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing. -Communicates instrument repair needs to supervisor. Qualifications Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Certified Registered Central Service Technician [CRCST] - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) Required Experience related experience 2-4 years preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Knowledge of case cart assembly. - Familiarity with the regulatory standards of materials management. - Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
